Media leaving Twingly

Twingly is gone on several media, Dagbladet and Se & Hør among others. What is happening? On Twingly’s blog people started to question, especially on Dagbladet’s post, suddenly this is the way the blog post looks, mysterious?

This is just like Entrecard does it, if anything bothers them – delete it.

Media too early

French intelligence turns and tell us that the two muslims share the same name as registered terrorists, but this evening they say that the to are not the same persons.

Now they are back to 0 and continue the search for reasons why the Airbus crashed. Didn’t A320 crash a lot while testing it? And today a A320′s engines started to burn on its way from Gran Canaria. I think its a bigger chance that the plane had technical error than taken down by terrorists.

AF447 – Act of terrorism?

L’express and Sky News reports that two passengers with names linked to Islamic terrorism were on board the Air France flight which crashed with the loss of 228 lives, it has emerged.

French secret servicemen established the connection while working through the list of those who boarded the doomed Airbus in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on May 31st.

Its tragic if this was an act of terror. I mean, its tragic anyway but if this was done by muslims they will struggle in the days to come. In Norway last week they’ve received a lot of negative attention because imams and violence against children and muslims that don’t want to follow Norwegian law.

I think this will only make it worse, unfair to the majority of muslims who haven’t done anything wrong.

Heavy transporters are getting more aggresive

A guy in a Hummer showed his finger when a large trailer squeezed himself into the queue, when the driver saw the finger he blocked the highway and stopped. Found a sledge hammer and tried to crush the Hummer, its not made in China yet so it can take a few punches, but he broke some windows and made a few bumps. They started to fight and a few teeth later the police arrived to stop them.

Today we learn that the driver of the heavy transport may have been tired or had a stressful day but his boss says he have to let him go.

This happens every day in traffic, I see a lot of it. Drivers of heavy transport pushing people and misusing their power on many wheels. I wish we had parallel roads where heavy traffic could do what they wanted – we see too many accidents involving small cars and heavy trucks.

Muslims send long smses

I read in VG today that Abid Raja is being called a kafir, an infidel, by fellow muslims. Its sad to see such shitthrowing but I know it has been going on for a while but first now its escalating for real in the media. Raja has received a lot of angry smses from fellow muslims, one of them you can read here, in norwegian, or beneath translated by google – don’t know which is worse.

Its not wise to joke too much about this quarrel they have but I have to say that muslims send really really long smses! Why not use e-mail? This is one of the smses he got :

“Salam Aleikum. I have a couple questions you should think about. Have you become kafir? You begin to sound like a Christian crusader. Swear to the Norwegian constitution every day and kiss the Norwegian flag, good night and good day every day, but do not expect that the rest of the Muslims to do the same. You are too wise to play the idiot. Maybe you should consider yourself to Frp, so we know where we got you. For right now you are a fool and jester. Your asskissing is completely sickening. One time you were a likeable person. Now we can do better off without you. I am deeply disappointed by the person you have become. Achieving the citizenship should depend on whether they have made serious crimes, nothing more. If you, who called Norwegians women for cheap prostitutes in some magazine, obtained citizenship, others deserve it too. Stop playing!
Yours respectable musliman in Norway for 34 years now. You underestimate us (the public), that I like bad. Salam Aleikum. “

What will happend if I comment this?

An ex-Taliban-imam Abdul Mohammad Rauf who is a refugee in Norway says that Norway have weak laws that allows Norwegians to have a wife, a lover/mistress and a girlfriend/boyfriend. This man was convicted to abuse his child and I find it interesting what he have to say about laws. He also say that Norway has welcomed him as a muslim so the country have to accept that he also have to follow muslim law.

I have lots to say about what he say but what will happen to me and my family if I do?

Microsoft Search to Norway

Steve Ballmer is in Norway today talking to our Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg. Microsoft is moving their head office for Search Technology to Norway. Earlier this year Microsoft purchased the Norwegian Fast Search and Transfer (FAST) established in Trondheim in 1997.

Microsoft’s main office will be in Oslo with branches in Tromsø and Trondheim. On short term they are looking for 50 developers in addition to the 300 they got via FAST.

Exciting news, I look forward to follow MS on this battle against Google and I have to admit that I’m proud of what Norwegian technology can achieve.

Additionally this week Ballmer is visiting european countries to present Microsoft presents to students, free software! Except Visual Studio 2008. :) This is part of the Dreamspark project.

Made in China

I think we need to have Argus’ eyes on products made in China. Right now over 13000 babys are in danger of loosing their life because of melamine tainted milk powder. Over 6500 infants have developed kidney stone. Melamine were added illegally to make protein content of milk appear higher than it actually is. 4 infants is dead but we’ve only seen the litle top of the ice berg. Remember the same happening in 2004? They never learn.

Melamine have also been detected in ordinary milk as well now.

Melamine was linked to deaths and illness of thousands of cats and dogs in the US last year after it was added to pet food components exported from China.

This is not the first scandal in China, were products were tampered with to make more money.

A firm in Jiangsu Province and another in Shandong Province together exported more than 1,300 tons of contaminated wheat protein to the US.

A chemical called TD-glycerin, which should be used only for industrial purposes, found its way into a cough syrup.

Pet food – tainted with chemical melamine

Toothpaste – tainted with chemical diethylene glycol and bacteria

Farmed fish – traces of banned drugs and pesticides found

Tyres – fault may cause blow-outs

Toys – contain lead or pose choking hazard

Children’s jewellery – contains lead

Ceramic heaters – pose fire safety risk

The list goes on an on. Most stories doesn’t leave China, but these got through. We all are importing goods from China, because its cheap. When will we have to stop the madness by boycotting China, who has the nerve? Noone if you ask me.

Be careful where you surf

On saturday in my area this weekend a young guy called the police. He was worried about his father. He told the police that he was locked in, in his room and house, with no food or water. The 60 year old man had been locked in since Friday.

The police went to his house and found the man locked in as the son had reported. And they found out why – his wife found out that he surfed on sites that she didn’t like much and decided to punish him…

Poor guy. :D He didn’t file any charges, the policed talked to them and got them on better tracks..

I think I would file a charge… Especially now that the whole world knows what he did this weekend.

We have water!

NASA writes tonight that they can confirm finds of water on Mars.

“The soil sample came from a trench approximately 2 inches deep. When the robotic arm first reached that depth, it hit a hard layer of frozen soil.”

Finally they have hard evidence, I’ve been looking forward for this.

Check it out here.

Telenor in Norway sued G.W. Bush

Sat phone

While preparing invasion of Iraq The US Marine Corps had to borrow a lot of advanced equipment from Norway. Among the equipment were 25 advanced laser target systems and measure systems. This became an embarrassed incident in Norway but its mostly forgotten.

Now however a new incident has come to our attention, at the same time US Marine Corps borrowed equipment from Norway US AID as well needed to borrow advanced communication equipment from the Norwegian company Telenor. They needed to test flow of information in humanitarian operations and find areas to improve.

But US AID never reached their targets due to combat operations and transferred the Norwegian equipment to The US Army. Telenor in Norway were not asked about this transfer and this was the root of the argument.

Soldiers made 4905 calls and surfed the net 2349 times during 31 days, most of the traffic were between soldiers and families/friends. The phone bill : over a half a million dollar. Telenor sent the phone bill to The US Army but they got it back, no one wanted to pay the bill. Telenor sued The US Army but had no luck getting through.

A few days ago the two parts agreed to a secret settlement, no one want to comment the incident.

Lidl pushed out of Norway

Lidl

On March 14th we received news that Lidl is leaving Norway after a rough experience in a strange market. What really happened? We know from reports that after 2 years in Norway Lidl already struggled to gain enough marketshare to earn money. From day 1 they have been hated by many and loved by few.

Rema 1000 buys all 50 Lidl locations and have promised to take good care of the employees and location, is this what we wanted?

We read that Lidl’s employees were given slave-saleries, poor workconditions and were surveilenced by the company but is all we read the truth?

Owners of the large Rema 1000 and Norgesgruppen have monopoly in Norway and they are billionares, is it naive to think that they are innocent of pushing Lidl out of Norway?

When Lidl arrived in Norway 4 years ago peoplegroups were treathening Lidl with violence if they builded in certain locations, were these groups sponsored by Rema 1000 and Norgesgruppen?

The Norwegian Competition Authority is looking into the deal these days and most likely they will approve the deal between Lidl and Rema 1000, maybe inflicted by the latest news about illigal survailance of employees and customers.

Its strange that norwegians want them out, in my opinion all competition is for the customers best.

Flagburning finally legal

Flags

Tomorrow will be a great day for many, the law against burning other contries flags will be removed by the government. Finally.

I am a bit concerned though, how will the air become to breath in when many people burn flags all day?

I have not yet decided which flags to burn first, am I allowed to burn the Sami flag? It would be fun to burn the Japanese, American, Russian and the Swedish flag, but they cost a lot of money. I thought once of starting a webshop to sell flags and gasolin, a kind of celebration-package for bored people. But I think I would get in trouble to transport gasolin via Posten.

Happy flagburning day!
