Each year we mark the start of the festive season with a Festival of Lights. Thousands gather around a small lake in the city center. Christmas songs, fireworks, torches and lighting the Christmas tree. My daughter loved it, especially the fireworks – it was awesome. I was lucky to capture this after the celebration:
It was difficult to capture the beautiful moment, but here is a try, my daughter in my arms and the cell phone in the air.
If you’re interested here is a nice shot from above: BA.
I’m tired of the media coverage of the two Norwegians in Congo. One of the guys is now playing insane to either be transferred home or to mistrial – its ridiculous. If they’ve killed a man in Congo they deserve to be treated as other killers in Congo, if not – they trial will tell. In the mean time I wish media concentrated on other matters.
Like this for instance, or maybe explain why so many people get killed in the UN building from the 17th floor?
