An owl had crashed during the night and left marks of dust and fat. Probably a cat or horn-owl an expert says. This is what Simen saw:

I’ve never seen anything like it, the marks were stuck for several days. Simen couldn’t find the owl in the area so it most likely survived the crash – but it must have hurt.

Heres a link to the story, but in Norwegian: Owl Crash.[/lang_en][/fusion_builder_column][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][lang_nb-no]Forrige uke i Eidangerveien i Brevik oppdaget Simen et utrolig avtrykk på vinduet deres. En ugle hadde i løpet av natten fløyet i vinduet og laget et avtrykk av støv og fett på ruten.

Jeg har aldri sett makan. Uglen må ha klart seg sier de, siden de ikke så noe til den. Sjekk ut historien her: Uglekrasj.[/lang_nb-no][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

  1. Oh my goodness, that image is stunning (literally stunning, right?). Sometimes birds crash into our windows and they usually just leave a few tiny feathers stuck to the window.

Totally weird. Italians have a lot of superstitions about birds. You might enjoy an old post of mine — a true story– called The Goldfinch.

Oh! That is so sad!! I hope it was okay – he or she does look like quite a majestic thing.

We used to get loads of birds crashing into people’s ig French doors in South Africa and they usually seemed okay so hopefully this one was fine.
