Maybe I got a bit jealous as well.
Here is one of ours on the back porch, I have no idea what it is called.

Forslag?

I guess it’s all a matter of what you’re used to seeing day in and day out. This guy looks plenty interesting to me! I love all his stickery-looking bits on his legs and just look at those markings! He (or she) is a stunner!
I have what I call a writing spider weaving her web at the dog kennels that I hope to get a good shot of soon. Be sure to watch for that in the coming days.
Margaret (otherwise known as SureShot)
LOL Margaret I didn’t know it was you! 🙂
We have two of these, one is larger than the other. This one is the smaller, the other didn’t want me to take a photo.
Your spider looks pretty impressive and scary!
Though, I do like the colour and patterns on this spider – great photo.
Spiders give me the creeps, but I started getting a bit more used to them after our 2 years in Korea – they were everywhere and I kept shooting them – CLOSE UP 🙂
I love the first shot – looks like he’s saying “This is MY territory” 🙂
Oh! I found out what your spider is! She is a Araneus diademanus female and there is a way cool website of Swedish spiders at http://www2.nrm.se/en/spindlar.html
You guys have LOTS of cool looking spiders!
Yeah there she is! Awesome Margaret, thanks!
Incredible that you found this.
Nicole I am not sure if I dare to think what spiders they have in Korea. I am a bit scared of big spiders, but ours is ok.
Araneus Diademanus’ kids sometime visit our living room, my daughter studies them carefully. (from distance) Its fun.
What?! I couldn’t even read what you wrote, too busy shuddering at those awful pictures! *cringe*
I really love the photo’s, very nice pictures, what type of camera and lense do you have?
I don’t have a real camera at the moment.. I use a N82. It is a Carl Zeiss with Tessar 2.8/5.6. 5 Mpix, Xenon flash/AF.
Its ok for some objects, but it doesn’t really give me what I hoped to see.
Since Margaret got the answer, let me just say: amazing pics – well captured!
Den lingner veldig på “Grusomme Gabriel” som har holdt til utenfor stuevinduet vårt i noen år
