Four weeks gone by the wind|Fire uker ferie gikk fort

I love to have that many weeks continous, I feel I get more out of it then. Time flies when having fun, and tomorrow its back to work, kindergarten and SFO. The eldest one doesn’t start school until way into August, I kind of envy him! SFO is a school leisure scheme, I’m not sure what people call it in English, can I say school leisure scheme? 🙂

We’ve had 4 great weeks, in the beginning of July we had days with 25-30 degrees where we went bathing and had a good time. Then we travelled to Gol, a small mountain city where we stayed at an awesome family hotel with huge swimming pool and a child pool. The huge pool has interval waves, that was fun and they had built a great kid-pool, it was like walking into a jungle. Slides, palms, trees, monkeys and alligators. Outside there were slides for the elder ones, I had to try them all but it was a bit cold outside, it was nice to take our little one into the warm jungle. 🙂

Our little one could spend ours in the water, she loved it and I forgot time – isn’t that what vacation is all about? Time was not an issue, we stayed up late, danced at the disco with clowns and other entertainment.

Then we went to our family place near the ocean a bit southwest of here, that is always a hit – the kids love it there. I’ve posted the view from the hut here so I guess you know why I love it. Its a calm place and at night you can hear the waves. We had a lot of fun, playing with the kids on the fields playing croqet and other fun games.

Today we ended our vacation with a large family party for the prince of the house, we celebrated his birthday today. Its always nice to invite family to birthdays, else its difficult to find a day where everyone has time – birthdays is always a good excuse to gather as many as possible. 🙂

It has been a great day, now I’m waiting for the dishwasher to end so I can fill it up again, and again, and again before I go to bed. 🙂

I kind of look forward to start work again, some parts of me miss it and I notice that the kids miss their friends at school and kindergarten. It was special to watch my little daughter when she saw a kindergarten photo with all her friends. She became quiet and studied it for quite a while, no words but I could se her mind work. I think she miss it and I look forward to see her reaction when I take her to her friends tomorrow morning.

Nå er ukene over og i morgen er det full fart igjen, jobb, barnehage og SFO – eldstemann begynner ikke på skolen før langt ut i august, det er noen som har det.

Tiden har flydd men jeg føler at vi har utnyttet ferien kjempebra, i begynnelsen av juli var jo det tropesommer i Bergen og da gikk vi mye på tur, badet og koste oss. Så tok vi oss en uke på Gol, det var fantastisk – lang biltur som er midt i blinken for meg siden jeg elsker å kjøre, deilig opphold på Pers Hotell hvor vi kom til dekket bord morgen og middag. Farlig god mat men det gikk ikke utover vekten, jeg trodde jeg hadde lagt på meg 5-6 kilo men jeg tok feil.

På Gol badet vi masse på Tropicana, gikk mye tur og besøkte Vassfaret Bjørnepark – det var kjempemorro. Litt trist å se dyr som bjørn, elg og rådyr i fangeskap men de hadde mange mål å boltre seg på så det er ikke så gale. Likevel gir det en bismak men sånn er jo verden.

Deretter tok vi en uke på hytten på Austevoll, det var en fryd. Ungene koste seg, selv om været bød på våte elementer så kledde vi oss godt og gikk turer og koste oss. Gøy å leke med ungene til vi blir anpusten, sisten/tikken er veldig god trim! Det er da man legger merke til at man begynner å bli gammel.

Vi avsluttet ferien med et kjempekoselig familiebesøk i dag, prinsen i huset fylte år i dag. Det kjekkeste jeg vet bursdager, da kan man lett få til et stort familietreff, noe som ofte er vanskelig i disse travle tider.

Nå er huset stort sett ryddet, jeg sitter og venter på at oppvaskemaskinen skal bli ferdig, så skal den fylles på nytt. Noen ganger. :)[/lang_nb-no][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
