Plurk

I can’t resist trying new sites and services. Since I like twitter a lot I had to try Plurk. Plurk has a new concept of shortposting, it provides a neat timeline of yours and your friends plurking and you can much easier respond to others plurking. Like this for instance where you can find plurkers near you :

It also have a nice widget you can put on your blog or site. I think this is going to grow. As you extend your usage by writing, adding friends comment etc you get higher carma. The more carma the more chance you have to get on the frontpage. I’m not much into that but its a fun feature. Be sure to read the Safe plurking tips and the FAQ. Its also possible to embed images and other media to your plurk, that is a great function. See you on Plurk! 🙂

A fun Disney template for Plurk: hehedy can be found here, its a Disney Halloween template with Donald Duck and his friends.
