Air France warned last year

The Air France accident is tragic and its disturbing that they know so little of what happened. We’re in 2009 and they can’t do better than this to recover data – tragic.

I was a bit curious of why they suddenly started to chance airspeed indicators or Pitot Tubes as they call them so I searched a bit.

Then I found this; AirBus recommended last year to change the tubes. Is Air France trying to cover up the lack of actions?

    Åh, dette har virkelig fått min oppmerksomhet nå, sitter å saumfarer nettet som om det skulle vært CSI “live” vi opplever nå. Hva blir det neste som lekker ut?

    -I tillegg til at de hadde krevd utbytting av sensorene, vet vi at to store flyulykker (boeing 757) i årene som har gått har vært på grunn av lufthastighetsmåleren, og ikke minst husker jeg returen 30.mai på grunn av hastighetsmåleren (http://www.dagbladet.no/2009/05/30/nyheter/innenriks/sas/dyrenes_nyheter/6478285/)
