Den må ha holdt mellom 150 og 170 km/t sier ambulansepersonalet. Dette var ved Øyesletta..

    Dette lukter det TV2 av, var de ute og dokumenterte hvor fort ambulanser kjører?

    Det er ikke rart det skjer ulykker der ute..

    Målfrid og Trond Eliassen

    To be born on your way to the hospital is not the easiest way to start your life, but it helps if it happends in an ambulance. And you are extra lucky if you’re born in an ambulance in west Norway.

    Ambulance driver Trond Eliassen learned on a midwife course that they should have a hat ready to keep the newborn from loosing heat. Trond knew what to do and asked wife Målfrid for her help.

    Now every newborn in an ambulance in west Norway gets a warming, homeknitted hat, in matching ambulance-colors. During an evening she knits one and they are now part of the midwife-suitecase in the ambulances. Check out the story in norwegian here for more pictures.

    Check out Trond’s socks, Målfrids knits them too and they are getting very popular among both ambulance drivers and the police. And when an ambulance driver becomes a parent, their new one are equipped by Målfrid with knitted hat and socks as well.

    A great story if you ask me.

    Å bli født på vei til sykehuset er ikke bare bare for små krabater og de rundt dem, men det hjelper på om det skjer i ambulanse. Ekstra heldig er de som blir født i ambulanse på Askøy, Sotra elller Øygarden.

    På jordmorkurs fikk ambulansesjåfør Trond Eliassen informasjon om hvor viktig det var for barnet å få noe på hodet for å unngå varmetap, de ble derfor anbefalt å ha lue i ambulansen.

    Konen Målfrid visste råd og nå får alle som blir født i ambulanse på Askøy, Sotra eller Øygarden en god og varm hjemmestrikket lue.
