Visiting The Sandviken Ropery

Sandviken Ropery is Europe’s eldest standing ropery built in wood, built in the 1600s. For years it has been abondoned and decaying but in 2009 serious new buyers decided to rescue it. 100 loads of trash later and in cooperation with the authorities it already looks wonderful. Last Tuestday the scouts were lucky to be allowed to visit it. Here are some photos from inside:
