I had some spare time not long ago while waiting for a ferry so I decided to check out an area I hadn’t visited for a long time, the fort at my enlisted division. Jeg hadde litt tid til overs for ikke så lenge siden mens jeg ventet på fergen til Austevoll så jeg bestemte meg for å utforske Visterøy. Jeg er/var rulleført på fortet der. Tourists on Fløy mountain|Turister på Fløyen

My better half walked a different route while I was supposed to take the cablecar up since I had our daughter in a roller. But the line of tourists going up were hundreds of meter long so I decided to walk up. I kind of regretted it halfway, going up those steep hills with a toddler in a roller was though. But it felt good when we got to the top, I think my body needs more exercise. 🙂

We went up to Skomakerdiket, a small lake on the mountain and had a great time, bbq’ing pizza-rolls was incredible tasty.

There were lots of tourists up there, its a popular spot in Bergen. We’ve decided to to this next weekend to if the weather allows it.

Vi slapp samboeren av litt tidligere, hun ville gå over fjellet selv mens jeg skulle ta minsten i barnevogn og ta Fløybanen opp. Men da jeg så køen så mistet jeg lysten til å ta banen opp, det var sikkert en times venting – det giddet vi ikke. Så jeg bestemte meg for å gå opp, det angret jeg litt på når jeg var halvveis. Det var lenge siden sist og minsten har blitt litt tyngre. Men det gikk greit og det føltes godt da vi kom helt opp.

Vi tok turen til Skomakerdiket og grillet pizza-snurrer, det var kjempegodt. Har aldri prøvd det før, det kan anbefales!

Det var masse turister der i går, Fløyen er et populært sted, de har gjort det veldig fint der oppe.

How is your view right now?|Hvordan er utsikten din akkurat nå?

Sometimes its good to have no plans at all, just relax and watch people scurry to and fro. We stopped at a bakery to have some lunch, its hot outside – probable around 27 degrees celcius today as well!

Det er godt å ikke ha planer, sitte og slappe av å se på folk haster frem og tilbake. Det var godt med en liten pause i skyggen også, jeg tror det må være minst 27 grader i dag også.

Yesterday we had awesome weather, a bit misty but it was time to visit the mountain again. The Area cableway was recently re-openend after a long period of maintainance – now it welcomes tourists to visit a great place with a lovely view. Way below you can see the stadium of our local football team Brann.

On 643 meters you are the king of the world, in Bergen.

27 degrees celcius, the summer is here. Its fun to see tourists enjoying the visit, and its fun to be a tourist in your own town.

En kamerat og jeg tok den nyrestaurerte Ulriksbanen opp for å ta litt bilder og nyte dagen. De har vært kjempeflinke der oppe, aldri før har det sett så greit ut der oppe – men utsikten er den samme, like nydelig.

På 643 meters høyde er du kongen av verden, i Bergen.

27 grader, sommeren er her. Synd at det var litt dis men vi hadde en fantastisk dag. Turistene koste seg og på den nye restauranten satt folk og spiste god mat med den perfekte utsikt.

Den andre siden, snødekte fjell i det fjerne.
