Cape Town

Wheee! I am going to Africa! Our company won a trip to Cape Town and I was allowed to go, all expenses covered. Its kind of unreal, I’ve never been that far south.

Its only a week but I don’t have word for how much I look forward to this. *bouces all over the place*

Now I have to figure out how to send images directly from my cellphone to my blog.

Is it hot there now? What does business casual dress code mean? (tie?) (there will be some work) What should I not forget to do down there? Google!!?!??

Cape Town

Don’t forget taking two showers per day. lol that’s what we do in hot weather. Sometimes even three. 😛

Have fun. Don’t avoid going out during the day if possible. Enjoy the restaurants, check local music.

    Just some tips. 🙂

How wonderful! I haven’t been back to Africa since I was a child of 12 years old. I’d dearly love to be there too.

Welcome to Africa Ovind Hope you enjoy your stay. Smart casual means open neck shirt, long trousers, and shoes and socks no jacket or tie required.

Take any security warnings seriously as our country is unfortunately rife with criminals who prey on tourists.

I am sure you will have a great time. Cape Town is wonderful both scenery wise and tons of things to do. Try and go up Table Mountain by cable car if the weather permits or a tour to the furthest point South on the African continent, its a great drive.

As the weather quite changeable this time of year being Autumn, make sure you bring a warm jacket as well as your sun screen 🙂
