Sometimes its good to have no plans at all, just relax and watch people scurry to and fro. We stopped at a bakery to have some lunch, its hot outside – probable around 27 degrees celcius today as well!

Det er godt å ikke ha planer, sitte og slappe av å se på folk haster frem og tilbake. Det var godt med en liten pause i skyggen også, jeg tror det må være minst 27 grader i dag også.

I don’t have much of a view right now since it’s night. But I hear that the space station will be visible around midnight. I hope it’s clear!

Hmmm … wish I had a good view right now. Alas I am looking out our apartment window onto the courtyard where it is about 105 degrees today. Sure it’s green out there, but a rather boring view. But this does remind me I do need to get the heck outts this house soon. 🙂

What with all the soccer fans in South Africa right now for the Confederation Cup, one only sees tourists. I am not complaining though, it is nice to see these folks here.

27 to 30C is the average summer temperature here in my neck of the woods. Right now the day time temperatures are about 20C and this is too cold for me.

Texas is brown. Hot, brown and crispy. The grass is so dead that it hurts my feet to go barefoot. We are in a drought from h*ll. I am afraid our springfed river is going to stop flowing this summer.

I’m looking out onto greenery, with a large patch of blue sky and puffy white clouds above. Green bushes, green trees, green grass, all the result of a wet spring, but we’ve had high temperatures so far this week, and set to continue for a few days more. Summer at last?

I’m sitting with my back to the window so I can only see my computer, desk and bookshelf. 🙁 There’s a thermometer on my desk and it’s 33.8°C, 49% humidity, 1022 air pressure! If I walk over to the window, there’s a fantastic view of Boston Stump.
