10 minute break from the world|10 minutters pause fra verden

This is where I did such last time:

I think many believes that taking a 10 minute break like that would ruin the time-schedule and plans but all in all no one will notice – the others are too busy with their own time-schedule.

I call it investment because I feel much fresher and happier after a break like that and I perform better. Jeg tror at mange er redd for å ta slike pauser, man er redd for å ødelegge den nøye planlagte dagen – men alt i alt så tror jeg at ingen vil merke noe. Alle er jo opptatt av sine egene timeplaner. Jeg kaller det investering fordi jeg føler meg mye friskere og opplagt etter en slik pause og da utfører jeg ting mye bedre. Jeg må innrømme at jeg liker bedre å gjøre slikt på sommerstid men dette har sin sjarm også.[/lang_nb-no][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

Det er ikke bare bare å kjøre i disse dager, vi er nede i både -10 og -15 og det er lenge siden sist – mange sliter med bilene sine. Jeg har hørt at mange kjøper seg kupevarmere, selv kunne jeg tenkt meg noe slikt men har ikke tilgang til strøm på parkeringsplassen.. Kunne alltid ha strekt kabel men vet ikke om det er så lurt.

Cold days|Kalde dager

I need to take more shots before it goes away. 🙂

Celebrating 1st advent Sunday|Første advent på Fløyen

The «candle» were lit to song and some preaching, we didn’t see much so we moved on to say hello to workers in Santa-forest (seasonable name). This has been done for 10 years now. I read now that it was our bishop preaching, I didn’t notice that. 🙂

We managed to fit 6 rollers in the roller-section of the funicular, that was impressive. Next weekend we’re going up instead though, its a lot of hassle to take the funicular with roller.

Visiting Santa and his wife, our little one loved it – they have a cozy cabin.

After taking the funicular down we went to our favorite restaurant in the city center, I always end up taking photos in there, so many fun stuff to look at.

Lyset ble tent til allsang og litt preken, vi så ikke så godt så vi gikk videre mot nisseskogen. Det er litt styr med barnevogn på Fløibanen så neste helg har vi bestemt oss for å gå istedet.

Her er nissemor og nissefar sammen med 500 år gamle Ulv, en utrolig herlig gjeng – de hadde laget det veldig koselig oppe i nissehytten. Her fikk barna fylle ut ønskelister og snakke litt med nissefamilien – vi tok også en liten nissesang der vi satt.

Da vi kom ned gikk vi på favorittrestauranten vår, der ender jeg alltid opp med å ta bilder, de har så mye artige motiver. Men først og fremst er maten helt konge.

Festival of Light 2009|Lysfesten 2009

Thousands gather around a small lake in the city center. Christmas songs, fireworks, torches and lighting the Christmas tree. My daughter loved it, especially the fireworks – it was awesome. I was lucky to capture this after the celebration:

It was difficult to capture the beautiful moment, but here is a try, my daughter in my arms and the cell phone in the air. 🙂

Det var egentlig jeg også, der var det mye ny «teknologi» som jeg aldri har sett før, fantastiske raketter. Fin musikk til fyrverkeriet, koselig stemning og en masse fakler.
