Yesterday we had awesome weather, a bit misty but it was time to visit the mountain again. The Area cableway was recently re-openend after a long period of maintainance – now it welcomes tourists to visit a great place with a lovely view. Way below you can see the stadium of our local football team Brann.

On 643 meters you are the king of the world, in Bergen.

27 degrees celcius, the summer is here. Its fun to see tourists enjoying the visit, and its fun to be a tourist in your own town.

En kamerat og jeg tok den nyrestaurerte Ulriksbanen opp for å ta litt bilder og nyte dagen. De har vært kjempeflinke der oppe, aldri før har det sett så greit ut der oppe – men utsikten er den samme, like nydelig.

27 grader, sommeren er her. Synd at det var litt dis men vi hadde en fantastisk dag. Turistene koste seg og på den nye restauranten satt folk og spiste god mat med den perfekte utsikt.

A trip to Oslo|En liten tur til Oslo

The Boss in Bergen|Springsteen i Bergen

Hes in my hometown these days having concerts and I have to admit that I’m a bit proud that he visits this small town compared to European and American.

When he arrived and saw where he was going to play he said in a playful tone «oh hey this was cozy, it will be like playing at a bbq party. Very nice neighbours here that allows us to play». I loved that, he has a great sense of humor. Koengen in Bergen is a small and intimate place – I hope he loved playing there. It takes about 22000 people.

Enkelte av sangene hans er magisk. Det er ganske stort at han er i Bergen, Norges nye konserthovedstad – man blir litt stolt. De er utrolig flinke til å dra inn store artister, og de kommer tilbake fordi de likte seg godt. Jeg liker Springsteens humor, da han så hvor han skulle spille så sa han «oi det blir jo som å spille på et grillparty, snille naboer her som lar oss spille her». Stor kommentar. Koengen er jo ikke gedigen, men plass til 22000 mennesker tiltrekker tydeligvis artister som Springsteen.

A day in a canoe|En deilig dag i kano

We were extremely lucky with the weather but the wind picked up a bit while were were camping but all in all we had a great day. Kids were taking a bath and had fun with the canoes while camping, its good to see kids in these elements.

Det var en fantastisk tur, vi var utrolig heldig med været. Det blåste litt da vi gikk i land for å ta en pause men det så ikke ut som ungene var plaget. Mange badet og koste seg. En fantastisk dag.

Daytrip to Austevoll|En dagstur til Austevoll

A pearl where I’ve been every summer since I were a baby. This is the view from the living room :

We had great weather this weekend, 20 degrees Celsius and not a cloud on the sky.

De hadde tatt seg en tur ut. Nydelig vær, litt over 20 grader og ikke en sky på himmelen. Det var kjempekoselig å være der ute igjen. Jeg får aldri nok av denne utsikten; tror jeg har over 100 bilder av samme utsikt.

På kaien på Huftamar på vei hjem, det er rart å bruke Huftamar som kai etter alle disse årene med ferge fra Austevollshella. Men med bro er det egentlig kjempekjekt.

Over den nye broen i full fart. Nesten synd at det er 80 der, jeg hadde bil bak meg så jeg kunne ikke være sinke. Eh ja kameraet var fastmontert og instilt i forveien til å ta bilde akkurat da. kremt

Eurovision Contest 2010 location revealed in 1 hour|Avstemning – Hvor tror du Grand Prix 2010 havner?

Jeg tipper Bergen siden det er den fineste byen og fordi vi har gjort det før. Når det gjelder Grand Prix i Norge er det ingen snakker om Grand Prix i 96, kun 1986 da det ble holdt i Bergen.

In Oslo today|En tur til Oslo i dag

New hospital room – new view|Nytt sykehusrom – ny utsikt

My father was transferred to a new room now that he is recovering. The hospital’s interior is kind of tragic so I think I’ll just share his view these days.

The hospital is surrounded by our mountains, if you have a though day there it helps looking out the window.

Pappa ble flyttet til et nytt rom siden han begynner å komme seg, dere må tro jeg er sprø som bare løper rundt og tar bilder men tenkte det var greit å dele den fine utsikten. Innsiden av Haukeland er ikke så mye å skryte av så den lar jeg være å ta bilder av.

I og med at kritikerne av Synnøve blir slaktet av flertallet så aner jeg hvor flertallet vil hen. Derfor vil jeg herved anbefale følgende par :

Oddvar Torsheim fra Norges Herligste og Dorthe Skappel tror jeg er en sikker vinner. To flotte personer med humør, musikal kunnskap og som rett og slett elsker å stå på den store scene.
